Born and raised in the heart of Middlesbrough, England, two lads with a passion for good food and great company embarked on a culinary journey that would take them from the bustling streets of the North East to the vibrant city of Lahore.
It all started with a simple concept: to create a burger that was more than just a meal. Inspired by their local roots, they dreamed of crafting burgers that were as unique and flavorful as the people they grew up with. The idea of “baggers and kebabs” – a playful twist on the traditional burger and kebab combination – was born.
With a vision in mind, the duo set out to create a burger experience that was both delicious and unforgettable. From the carefully selected ingredients to the distinctive design and artwork, every detail was meticulously crafted to reflect their passion and creativity.
What started as a single store in Middlesbrough quickly grew into a thriving business with five locations across the North East, including South Shields, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Manchester, and Salford. And their journey didn’t stop there. Driven by their entrepreneurial spirit, they ventured overseas and brought their beloved burgers to the vibrant city of Lahore, where they quickly gained a loyal following.
Today, Craft Burger stands as a testament to the power of a dream and the unwavering dedication of two lads who dared to think big. With each bite, customers are not only enjoying a delicious burger but also experiencing a taste of the North East and the passion that went into creating it.

There is no fixed costs as costs vary based on multiple factors such as the location, configuration, and size of store.
If the size and property is suitable after assessment by our Estates team then we are open to its use as a Craft Burger store.
Ideally, we would prefer our franchise partners to have previous food experience, however, this is not essential. We would prefer those with experience in running a business as we will provide full training.
Training is split between technical training at our Head Office and practical training in your own store.
The cost of the initial training is included within the Franchise Licence Fee. The only items not covered are your own travel, accommodation, and food.
